We convert ADAT tapes to .WAV files for modern archiving and remixing in DAWs.

Remix Ready

Easily remix your favorite tracks with our professional tape transfer to .WAV service. Our transfers are done in Pro Tools but you can use any digital audio workstation to remix your sessions.

With the advancement in modern plug-ins, you may be able to create a song mix you always envisioned but lacked the hardware back when you were tracking to the ADAT format.

Our equipment

We have five Alesis ADAT machines, allowing us to transfer up to 40 track sessions (16-bit tapes) or 24 track sessions (20-bit tapes). The photos on this page are of our actual equipment.

Alesis ADAT XT20 - Two machines (20-bit)

Alesis ADAT LX20 - One machine (20-bit)

Alesis BRC - This allows us to easily sync our machines.

Audio interfaces

RME DigiFace - We connect four of the ADAT machines to this interface via optical cables, also known as lightpipe

Universal Audio Apollo Twin - If needed, we connect the 5th ADAT machine to our DAW via optical cable to this interface

Pro Tools - We will provide the WAV formatted audio files and the complete Pro Tools session to you. The WAV audio files can be imported into any DAW and will all be synced.
